I can't quite recall the order of this dream, but I'll retell it as best as I can.

I turned on my computer, and as soon as I did, I was dragged into a chat with two people I know and two people I don't. The first two, the two I know, were an artist and a writer I really admire. I haven't talked to the writer in a very long time, and I was worried about her. The other two were artists who I know of, but have never talked with before. The artist I know added me to the chat because neither of us had heard from the writer in a long time, but when I was about to type an exclamation of excitement, she said, "I have to go to bed." I typed back desperately, "No! I just got here!" and she said, "Aw, I'm sorry I miss you too. We'll talk about Jonas some other time." And I thought, but did not have a chance to type before she left, "I don't want to talk about Jonas, I just want to talk about you and how you've been and catch up because I miss you."

As soon as she left the chat--which was an oddly colored chat, I must include. It had a neon background. I can't remember if it was red, blue, or green. It may have been all of the above--I received a text message. It was from my best friend. I ran downstairs and her and another friend were there, with bags of clothes. She said, "Hey, can I stay the night?" Naturally, I replied, "Of course!" I was so happy she was there, I didn't even feel bothered by the fact she just showed up in my dorm unannounced. Our other friend left and I asked, "Why isn't Juli spending the night?" "Oh, she has somewhere to be."

So, my best friend and I went upstairs to my room and had a sleepover. As soon as I woke up, she was packing to leave, and she was gone in about an hour. I didn't understand why she had to leave so quickly, but I didn't have a chance to ask before she was gone.

There were a bunch of visitors on campus that day, though I don't know why. I had the worst trouble buying a water bottle and finding a bathroom. I think I was in the middle of those two tasks before I woke up.
